All about iOS 8

***Okay, so...these are the notes I took for a video I made on YouTube and I decided to post it here if you wanted to see it or if you wanted a scripted version or something, also this is good information. Enjoy! :)***

iOS 8 Notes:

It will be coming in the fall, there is no exact date yet but from past experiences it will probably come during late September or early October.

Now with SOME of the features in iOS 8 I want to talk about:

First feature I want to talk about is the keyboard features. The keyboard now let's you do many types of things and let's you type faster and more epic! The keyboard will now predict what you'll say next in a text message, email, and stuff like that. It will come up on the top of the keyboard and will say things things that they think you will say based on the things the people typed and based on stuff you typed as well. It is available in 14 countries. There will also be new third-part keyboards you could use from many different developers. You can choose from any style YOU want! :)

Interactive notifications: Users can now pull down from a notification and reply there and then, without having to leave the app you're in.

Siri improvements: The voice-activated assistant now comes with Shazam song recognition, and also supports streaming voice recognition. Apple says it has added 22 new dictation languages.

Now let's talk about photos. There is now an iCloud Photo Library. Now you can look at your photos from any of your idevices. You can also now search for photos from your photo library. It will also make some suggestions of what you can search for too. There are also new stuff on when you edit photos! They have redesigned some stuff and added cool new features. You can now apply third party filters from others apps. And you can adjust light ok your photos in a more better way and adjust color in a more better way as well. There are also built in filters in the new editing features too.
And finally, Apple is making a new feature in the camera...time-lapse videos!

Next, let's talk about handoff. Apple says that: "Handoff lets you pick up right where you left off.
Now you can start writing an email on your iPhone and pick up where you left off when you sit down at your Mac. Or browse the web on your Mac and continue from the same link on your iPad. It all happens automatically when your devices are signed in to the same iCloud account. Use Handoff with favorite apps like Mail, Safari, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Maps, Messages, Reminders, Calendar, and Contacts. And developers can build Handoff into their apps now, too."

iPad and Mac can now answer calls! If your phone is in another room and someone is calling, and if your on a Mac, you can now answer it there, even on your iPad too! :D

Another feature would be this:
Send any kind of text message from any of your devices.
This is what Apple said:
"Having a conversation with friends and family who don’t use an iPhone just got much easier. That’s because you can now send and receive SMS and MMS text messages right from your iPad or Mac. So when a friend texts you from any kind of phone, you can respond using whichever device is most convenient. You can also start a conversation from your iPad or Mac by clicking a phone number in Safari, Contacts, or Calendar."

In iOS 8 there is now more features for Spotlight! You can search for Wikipedia as always but now you can search stuff like news, directions, nearby places, iTunes Store, App Store, and more! This stuff can work on Safari too.

In iOS 8 there is now this thing called family sharing. This is what Apple said:
"Family Sharing makes it easy for up to six people in your family to share each other’s iTunes, iBooks, and App Store purchases. Whenever one person buys a new song, movie, or app, everybody gets to share. It’s also easier than ever to share family photos, a family calendar, locations, and more."

The last feature I want to talk about is an app that Apple made called health. There has been rumors about this for some time and it finally came true! Health is a health tracker, heart minister, and basically an all in all status of your health. There are also dashboards so you can track your health in a better way.

There are more features out there in iOS 8 I want to talk about but these are just some. I am really excited for this update and I hope you do too. If you want more information about iOS 8 you can go to Apple.com. Thanks for watching! Have an epic day! :)
